Telenet informs its customers of price adjustment in line with inflation
Monday, 3 June 2019— Telenet will be adjusting its fixed monthly subscription charges with effect from 4 August 2019. The 1.87% adjustment which the company will make is in line with inflation. All customers will be informed of the adjustment in the next few days.
On 4 August, Telenet will increase its fixed monthly subscription charges by 1.87% for Internet, digital and analog television, mobile and fixed telephony. The adjustment is in line with inflation. Every year, Telenet faces generally increasing costs. These are reflected in the health index, to which, among other things, the general increase in most salaries is linked by law. Materials and utilities such as energy are also becoming more expensive year by year.
“Our pricing policy is something we assess carefully each year. We do not make any hasty decisions. We adjust our prices in line with inflation. We understand that this is never a pleasant message to bring. Naturally, we continue to assure our customers that we will tirelessly keep improving their products and adapting them to the way they use them,” the company says.
