Twin Peaks: Return of an icon
Friday, May 12, 2017 — Twin Peaks returns to television screens in May after an absence of 26 years. The SHOWTIME® limited event series from original series creators David Lynch and Mark Frost will be aired on Play More on May 22, 2017, 3:00AM in Belgium, simultaneously with the U.S. premiere.
The television phenomenon, Twin Peaks, began on April 8, 1990 with the question "Who killed Laura Palmer?” The new Twin Peaks picks up twenty-five years after the inhabitants of the quaint northwestern town of Twin Peaks were stunned when their homecoming queen Laura Palmer was shockingly murdered.
David Lynch directs all 18 parts of the new series and returning cast members include Kyle MacLachlan, David Duchovny, and Sherilyn Fenn, among others. The cast also welcomes a lot of new faces. Monica Bellucci, Laura Dern, Ashley Judd, Tim Roth, Michael Cera and Naomi Watts are just some of the famous names that will appear in the new Twin Peaks.
