Telenet sustains commercial momentum in Q3 2026, supported by broadband and mobile subscriber growth
Mechelen, Belgium, 3 November 2026 – Telenet continued to deliver solid commercial momentum in the third quarter of 2026, despite a highly competitive market environment. Telenet recorded further growth in its broadband and mobile postpaid customer bases, supported by BASE’s successful promotional offers, the introduction of new modular fixed-mobile convergence (FMC) offers and an enhanced entertainment proposition.
Continued broadband and mobile subscriber growth
Telenet maintained its positive broadband trajectory for the sixth consecutive quarter, adding 4,100 net broadband subscribers in Q3, bringing the total broadband subscriber base to 1,761,700 at the end of September.
Mobile postpaid performance also strengthened, with 4,100 net subscriber additions during the quarter, reaching 2,659,800 at the end of September.
The proportion of converged households within the broadband customer base increased to 55.6%, compared with 55.0% in the same period last year, reflecting continued customer uptake of converged services.
Enhanced entertainment offering and premium device launches
During the quarter, Telenet further strengthened its entertainment proposition through Play Sports, launching Belgium’s most comprehensive sports offering. This includes domestic football from the Jupiler Pro League, following the renewal of its agreement with DAZN. The enhanced sports offering supported customer growth during the quarter, with further uptake expected in Q4.
Telenet also capitalised on the launches of the iPhone 18 Pro and Samsung Galaxy Z series, which supported increased sales of premium mobile devices.
Continued focus on customers, products and operational efficiency
Throughout the first nine months of 2026, Telenet maintained its focus on customer growth and retention, alongside targeted investments in its products, networks and customer experience.
With sustained broadband growth, improved mobile postpaid momentum and a strengthened content offering, Telenet continued to execute its commercial strategy in a competitive market environment.
