Telenet upgrades the TV experience with personalisation and a focus on local content
Mechelen, 9 October 2025 - From 9 October, Telenet TV customers will enjoy a renewed TV menu that brings all sources of entertainment together in one convenient overview: from live TV to streaming apps and local content. In the new menu, viewers will have a new ‘For You’ landing page with personalised recommendations based on their preferences and can easily subscribe to streaming apps without leaving the TV environment. Telenet also reinforces its commitment to local programming with the ‘Best of Belgium’ page, offering a clear gateway to Belgians entertainment. With these innovations, Telenet helps viewers find their way effortlessly in the ever-growing range of TV and streaming apps.
All series, films and shows in one place
The new menu of Telenet TV brings together all entertainment in one clear guide. From now on, viewers have a For You homepage with personal suggestions across apps and channels based on their viewing habits and preferences. In the new Discover menu, TV and Streaming apps such as GoPlay, Streamz and Disney+ are all brought together in one convenient overview, so viewers no longer have to switch between apps or devices. With the Watchlist feature, viewers can save films and series across all their apps and channels.
Furthermore, customers can easily manage their streaming services via the Shop page, where they can activate or deactivate streaming subscriptions, or add new services to their Telenet bill in one click without the hassle of juggling different logins and payments. The familiar TV Guide and Recordings remain available in the menu.

Guiding viewers in a changing entertainment world
At a time when the selection of films, series and shows is overwhelming and discovering content can be time-consuming, Telenet aims to make a difference by helping viewers quickly find what truly suits them. Research shows that viewers want to compose their viewing experience cross-medially: they search less per app or channel.
That is why we are evolving from a silo discovery experience to a combined and personalised offering in which TV and Streaming are brought together in one overview. The new menu of the Telenet TV-box acts as a personal guide in the growing and fragmented entertainment offering. So instead of hopping between apps or channels, viewers can see what is available, presented in one convenient overview. At Telenet we believe the TV viewers' time should go into watching and not into scrolling or searching.
Focus on local content: ‘Best of Belgium’ page as a unique asset
Telenet continues to focus strongly on promoting and supporting local content as a distinctive factor in the Belgian TV landscape. With the new ‘Best of Belgium’ page, viewers can easily access shows, series and films produced locally, alongside Belgian talent featured in international productions. The familiar TV offering remains central, expanded with the full catalog from broadcaster apps like VRT Max, GoPlay, VTMGo and streaming services like Streamz.
Telenet deliberately chooses to support and strengthen local channels and shows, ensuring viewers can discover and access everything local.

With the latest, personalized TV menu, Telenet from Telenet group is focusing even more on the digital experience. Twenty years ago, Telenet took its first steps in digital television in Flanders. Since then, Telenet group has helped shape the TV landscape as a pioneer, with innovations such as pausing, rewinding, watching TV on any screen (Yelo TV) and voice-controlled searching.
