BASE evolves its internet and TV offering to better match today’s usage needs

Mechelen, 12 May 2026 - From 22 June, BASE will further evolve its internet and television portfolio to better reflect today’s usage habits and customer expectations. The updated offers provide clearer choices across different connectivity needs, with improved performance, more relevant features, and options that better match how customers use internet and TV today. As part of this portfolio evolution, certain service conditions will be adjusted to align with the added features and value provided. BASE’s mobile offers are not impacted by these changes.

Internet: expanded data volume

BASE is increasing its data volume, responding to overall market trends. From 22 June 2026, the BASE internet portfolio will consist of following tiers:

  • BASE Internet Limited (500 GB)
    • Download speed up to 50 Mbps
    • €29 per month (currently €27, for a 300 GB product)
    • €26.10 per month when combined with a mobile and/or TV plan1
  • BASE Internet Unlimited
    • Unlimited data, download speed up to 200 Mbps
    • €40 per month (no change)
    • €36 per month when combined with a mobile and/or TV plan1

The entry‑level internet product is updated following a “more‑for‑more” logic, providing increased value and performance aligned with today’s usage expectations.

Television: a more relevant channel lineup, including additional content

BASE is also evolving its TV offer by adding regional channels, reflecting customer research that highlights a strong interest in locally relevant content. French-speaking customers will gain also access to LN24 and TV5 Monde, while Dutch-speaking customers will see Q Music Visual added to their TV package. In total, BASE TV offers 31 channels.

As a result, the monthly price of BASE TV will be adjusted as follows:

  • BASE TV APP
    • €11 per month (currently €10/month)
    • €9.90 per month when combined with a mobile and/or internet plan1
  • BASE TV APP + TV box
    • €16 per month (currently €15)
    • €14,40 per month when combined with a mobile and/or internet plan1

These portfolio changes reflect rising usage expectations, increased investments in network technology, infrastructure, energy, and content, as well as general cost inflation. They enable BASE to continue delivering reliable services and solid value over the long term.

Customers are informed proactively ahead of the changes and can consult the My BASE website and app at any time.
