Change in Telenet group's Senior Leadership Team
Luk Bruynseels moving from Telenet group to Liberty Global
Mechelen, December 16, 2025 - Telenet group announced today that Luk Bruynseels, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is leaving the company and moving to Liberty Global, the parent company of Telenet group, effective March 1. In his new position as Managing Director Networks & Capital Allocation, Luk Bruynseels will be responsible for fixed and mobile networks and relevant capital allocations. He will play a key role in the ongoing shaping of Liberty Global's network strategy.
During his 16 years at Telenet group, Luk held various managerial positions within engineering and technology. His responsibilities included the successful integration of the BASE mobile network, large-scale network upgrades and the implementation of an agile working model. As CTO, he always maintained a strong focus on optimal customer experience and long-term value creation.
This move illustrates the close cooperation between Telenet group and Liberty Global and highlights the opportunities for internal growth within the Liberty group.
