DAZN app now available via Telenet TV box

As of 21 November, the DAZN app is available on the Telenet TV-box. Thanks to this cooperation between Telenet and DAZN, watching sport becomes even more flexible and personal. The integration of the DAZN app into the Telenet offering offers Telenet TV customers new ways to experience their favourite sports.

What does this mean concretely for consumers?

The DAZN app offers different options depending on preferences and subscription:

Telenet TV customers can enjoy the following content for free in the DAZN app: a lot of free content is offered in the DAZN app such as national and international women's football, the Saudi football league, one match per weekend from a top European league, selected fight camps as well as a wide range of on-demand content, all at no cost.
DAZN customers with a paying subscription can enjoy the following content: those who want access to the full DAZN offering including the Jupiler Pro League, LaLiga, Serie A, Bundesliga, European Championship and World Cup qualifiers, the NBA and NFL, among others, can subscribe to the DAZN app from €19.99 per month*.

A digital viewing experience

The DAZN app is designed to offer sports fans a flexible and high-quality digital viewing experience, with personalisation options, statistics and access on any device.

Wyre, Telenet, Proximus and Fiberklaar join forces to expand and accelerate the roll-out of fiber networks in Flanders

Mechelen, 23 July 2026 - The Belgian Competition Authority has approved the proposed cooperation between Wyre, Telenet’s network builder and Fiberklaar, a Proximus affiliate on multigigabit networks in Flanders. This decision means that Wyre and Fiberklaar can now implement a unique collaboration aimed at bringing ultra-fast internet to large suburban areas of Flanders: each partner will be responsible for the rollout of fiber in specific designated areas while other interested providers will have the possibility of using the network deployed in those areas to offer their own services. This will drive a faster fiber rollout to more homes and businesses. In addition, customers will get to enjoy a technology that is up to ten times faster than today’s, while disruption caused by construction works will be significantly reduced.
