Play Sports now available to all Telenet customers and via the new Play Sports app

Mechelen, April 28, 2025 - Having made most of its entertainment offerings available to all its customers on February 18, today Telenet group is also adding Play Sports to this range. Until now, the sports package was only available to TV subscribers. With Play Sports Telenet customers are consequently getting a front row seat for, among other things, the showdown in the Premier League, the exciting F1 summer and the return round of the playoffs in the Jupiler Pro League. Moreover, they can use the brand new Play Sports app for this.

Telenet group is constantly looking for ways to improve its customers' user experience. That is why it introduced a  new entertainment environment  in  MyTelenet earlier this year, which all Telenet customers can use to purchase and manage their Streamz, Netflix, Disney+ streaming services as well as the Netflix & Streamz combos.

As of April 28, Play Sports will also be part of this unique offering and Telenet customers without a digital TV line will for the first time be able to watch F1 and the Premier League, among others, via Play Sports.

User friendly entertainment hub

All entertainment services are combined in the recently launched entertainment environment, found in MyTelenet under  'My Products'.

  • The option to easily turn their streaming services on and off.
  • Exclusive discounts. Customers who  combine 2 or more streaming services  permanently enjoy a  5% combination discount  on these services.

This way, Telenet group guides even more customers to their favorite entertainment. As always, everything will be covered by  one Telenet bill
