Telenet becomes the first telecom operator in Belgium to integrate YouTube Premium into its entertainment offering

Mechelen, 16 February 2026 – Telenet, part of the Telenet group, is expanding its entertainment offering with the addition of YouTube Premium. As of today, customers can easily activate and manage the subscription via their personal MyTelenet web environment and the MyTelenet app, with payment handled directly through their Telenet bill. With this launch, Telenet becomes the first telecom operator in Belgium to offer YouTube Premium in such an integrated way to its customers.

From today, Telenet customers can add YouTube Premium to their subscription for €13.99 per month (YouTube Premium Individual, single user). The subscription provides an ad-free viewing experience on YouTube, the ability to download videos and playlists for offline viewing or listening, and background playback while using other apps. YouTube Music is also included, offering access to an extensive music catalogue without advertisements.

Centralised entertainment management

YouTube Premium is accessed via the existing YouTube app and does not require a separate application. Customers can activate, modify or cancel the subscription at any time through their personal MyTelenet web environment or the MyTelenet app. Thanks to the integration within the Telenet platform, customers can easily access the YouTube app via their familiar Telenet TV box. This allows customers to keep a single, central overview of their entertainment services and payments, providing additional convenience and clarity.
