Telenet Group NV increases capital at Play Media NV

Mechelen, 28 January 2026. Today’s Belgian Official Gazette announced that on December 23, 2025, Telenet Group NV raised Play Media NV’s capital by 45 million euros. With this capital increase, Telenet Group NV is strengthening the financial structure of Play Media NV and supporting the future activities of the broadcasting group.

The capital increase has no impact on the operational functioning of Play Media and confirms Telenet Group NV’s confidence in Play Media NV. The broadcasting group will also continue to focus on developing and offering creative content for viewers and advertisers in line with Telenet Group NV’s long-term strategy.

Telenet Group NV will continue to invest in television projects that are relevant for viewers and customers in Flanders and will remain committed to local anchoring and supporting the Flemish media landscape.
